Analytical laboratory

Testing laboratory No. 1139.2 is accredited by the Czech Institute for Accreditation for chemical analysis of silicates, ie. glass, glass ceramic, ceramic building materials, for chemical analysis of surface and waste water incl. sampling of wastewater. Tests are performed using of classical and modern methods, such as X-ray spectral analysis, atomic absorption spectroscopy, etc. Laboratory chemists determine the health harmless of glassware and ceramics intended for contact with food,  determine the content of lead and cadmium,  determine the hydrolytic resistance class of glass. Overview of standard analysis

1. Analyses of basic glass and glass and ceramic products

Determination of SiO2, Al2O3, B2O3, Fe2O3, TiO2, CaO, MgO, ZnO, PbO, BaO, Na2O, K2O, SO3

Determination of hydrolytic resistance of glass at 98oC

Determination of trace amount of Pb, Cd, Hg a Cr6+ for purposes of packaging law

Determination of Cd and Pb released from glass and ceramics to objects that come into contact with food (wholesomeness) according to applicable laws and regulations (CSN, ISO, BS, GOST, ASTM)

Determination of trace elements in the leachate to meet the requirements of GN

Determination of CaO and P2O5 in bioceramic


2. Analyses of raw materials for the manufacture of glass and ceramics

Chemical analysis of the sand, feldspar, phonolite, kaolin, clays and other silicates, limestone, dolomite, soda ash, sulfate, blast furnace slag, iron ore


3. Analyses of surface and waste water, including their sampling

Determination of COD (Cr), COD (Mn), BOD5, pH, conductivity, KNK, ZNK, total hardness, Ptotal, N-NH4+, N-NO3-, N-NO2-, Ninorg., sulphates, chlorides, fluorides, solutes, RAS, suspended solids, NES, C10-C40, phenols, Co, Ni, Mn, Cu, Zn, Fe, Pb, Cd, Ag, Ca, Mg, Cr, As, Li, Al, Ba, B
